Is it possible to set up variant-specific Datadog configurations?

It is not currently possible to set up variant-specific Datadog configurations in Apollo Studio. However, the following alternatives are supported:

Option 1

• The Apollo system can tag Datadog metrics with variant information, which enables you to differentiate and filter metrics by variant.

Option 2

• You can create multiple graphs in the same Studio organization that use different Datadog keys for forwarding. In this case, it isn't possible to represent different environments in the same Studio graph. However, it is possible to use a different graph for each environment by doing the following:

1. Create one deployed graph to represent your staging graph.
2. Create a different deployed graph to represent your your production graph.
3. Enable Datadog forwarding in both graphs, and provide a different key to each.
